Russian Deputy FM: Syria political process stalled

The political process on Syria has stalled but can be revived, including through expert-level work within the Lausanne format, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Tuesday.
In statements to Russian Sputnik News Agency, Ryabkov said "You see yourselves how the situation is developing, the political process is by and large stalled, although the prospect is not closed".
He said the Russian, US, Saudi, Turkish and other officials that met in Lausanne over the weekend discussed renewing the cessation of hostilities and easing access to humanitarian aid.
