Russian scholar terms US anti-Iran policy wrong

Head of Iran-Russia friendship association Alexander Palishok described the US approach towards Iran, particularly imposing sanctions against the country as wrong. Palishok said such a policy has no achievement for White House, but demonstrating the US disability across the globe. Talking to IRNA, he said Washington and its allies have done their best to impose sanctions against Iran in the past three decades, but have not gained much in that regard. By making use of international levers such as the United Nations Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency, the US has escalated its pressure against Iran. He further praised Iran\'s significant progress in all economic areas and stressed that the Islamic Republic is turning to a big regional power.
