South Korea's Justice Minister Kwon Jae-jin on Saturday held talks with Chinese Public Security Minister Meng Jianzhu on means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in criminal law. Talks also addressed the illegal fishing by Chinese vessels in South Korean waters in the West Sea, South Korean radio reported. The Chinese minister called on Korean officials to deal with these practices in a friendly manner, while the Korean justice minister said that similar incidents will be dealt with according to law. The two sides also discussed the issue of the Chinese citizen held in Korea over charges of attacking the Japanese embassy in Seoul using a Molotov cocktail in January.
