South Korean President Lee Myung-bak on Saturday said that his country must seek more cooperation with Chile, noting that the free trade bilateral agreement was a success. Lee held talks with his Chilean counterpart Sebastian Pinera in Santiago, in which they discussed bilateral relations and means of expanding cooperation to include education, culture, mining and renewable energy, Korean radio said today. Later on, Lee met with representatives of the business sector from the two countries, and said that Chile will serve as a gateway for Korea to enter South America and Korea will do the same job for Chile in the Asian market. Representatives of the two countries signed a number of agreements to develop technology in the sectors of marine energy, green energy and mining.
