South Korean Foreign Minister, Kim Sung-hwan and his Chinese counterpart, Yang Jiechi on Friday discussed the latest nuclear deal between Washington committing North Korea to temporarily halt its uranium enrichment program, accept U.N. inspectors and put a moratorium on nuclear and long-range missile tests in exchange for food aid from the United States. During a bilateral meeting held here, the two sides also reviewed the sensitive issue of North Korean refugees in China. China has between 20000?30000 North Korean refugees, who have defected from North Korea since the division of Korea after World War II and the end of the Korean War. According to YONHAP news agency, the Chinese official is also scheduled to meet South Korean President Lee Myung-bak during his visit to Seoul.
