Sajjadi: No Iranian commandos in Syria

The Iranian Ambassador to Russia Seyed Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi has denied media reports alleging Tehran has sent special task forces to Syria. “This is untrue,” Interfax quoted the diplomat as saying. “This information has appeared with the aim of weakening Syria and Iran.” Sajjadi said Syria did not need Iranian Special Forces. The ambassador also warned Iran would respond “in the most massive way” if attacked by other states.
