Under the patronage of the Minister of State for Information Affairs Sameera Rajab, the Bahrain Society of Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Ta’ayosh), in cooperation with the Christian Community in Bahrain, the “one Voice – A prayer for peace” event. The function aimed to highlight the importance of denouncing violence and hatred and promoting peace, love and peaceful co-existence between various religions, sects and creeds all over the world, in general, and in Bahrain, in particular. Hundreds of people from foreign communities belonging to different religions, including Islam, Christianity, Buddhism and Sikhism, prayed for peace in Bahrain. World singer Michael W. Smith also prayed for peace in Kingdom of Bahrain, describing it as a melting pot of ethnicities, civilisations and cultures. Then, the Minister of State presented the representatives of the religious communities in Bahrain with commemorative shields.
