Saudi ambassador hosts national day reception in Washington

Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel Bin Mohammad Al-Jubeir hosted Friday evening a reception party in Washington on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom. The event was attended by a number of officials in the U.S. administration, Congress and their aides. It was also attended by Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Jasser; President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Ali; heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the United States; a number of prominent personalities from the Arab and Muslim communities in U.S., businessmen and a group of Saudi citizens. During the reception, Saudi Arabia\'s achievements, progress and advancement as well as its security and stability were highlighted under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier.
