Saudi Arabia affirms stance on Syrian crisis

A Saudi official source categorically denied on Friday a Russian press report that Saudi Arabia is ready to help with Geneva 2 conference, affirming the stability of Kingdom's stance toward the Syrian crisis. The report is inaccurate and Saudi Arabia maintains a firm position on the Syrian crisis, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited the source as saying. The source was referring to a report by Russian news agency Novosti yesterday that the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov noted the change in the Saudi stance in a recent phone call between King Abdullah and Russian president.
