Security was intensified around the United Nations offices in Beirut following a false bomb threat, Lebanese officials said Monday. Police cordoned off an area in the city\'\'s central Hamra district, where the offices of the United Nations Children\'\'s Fund (UNICEF) are located, after a flier suggesting a bomb was about to explode was dropped in front of the building. \"We found no bomb, but a man was seen dropping a flier indicating the bomb will go off very soon at the UNICEF office,\" a police officer at the scene told dpa. The UNICEF offices were evacuated by the Lebanese police, who also made one arrest in connection with the incident. The false alarm followed reports of \"a possible terrorist attack\" against UN offices in Beirut.(
