Settlers set fire to mosque, spray-paint racist slogans in Salfit

On Wednesday settlers set fire to the Ali Bin Talib mosque in bin Deir Istiya village in the Salfit Governorate and also spray-painted racist slogans on the mosque’s walls.Mayor of Deir Istiya village, Ayoub Abu Hajleh, said that settlers torched the building at 3 a.m. and caused partial damages to the mosque. He added that the village’s residents rushed to the place and put out the fire.He also said that settlers spray-painted racist slogans on the walls of the mosque and its surrounding area. This crime-supposedly- comes after settlers threatened to revenge the Qusra incident that took place last week.It’s worth mentioning that Israeli forces and settlers are always attempting to seize the lands of Deir Istiyafor the benefit of settlement expansion.
