
The State of Kuwait is keen on supporting the Syrian people and soothing their hardships, affirmed Kuwait's Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah. Such state-level resolve will be manifested with the hosting of the second international donors conference for Syria, due in Kuwait in middle of next month, Sheikh Azzam said during a reception of Arab diplomats, late on Thursday. Kuwait, with organization of the broad convention, is determined to soften the plight of the Syrian people and aiding them resolve their crisis and that also through offering them all kinds of aid, the ambassador added. Moreover, Kuwait is doing its best at the governmental and grass-root levels to secure delivery of humanitarian supplies to the "Syrian brothers," he said, alluding to waves of relief supplies that have been dispatched by the Gulf State to the Syrian refugee camps in countries neighboring Syria. He expressed hope the Kuwaiti assistance would help in softening the suffering of the refugees. He also wished restoration of stability to Syria through peaceful means.
