President of Lebanese Shiite Scholars Forum Abbas Al-Jawhari said there is no legitimate ground to Hezbollah fighting alongside forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Al-Jawhari said Hezbollah involvement in Syria \"will damage the future of resistance and cause disturbance between Shiite and Sunni, adding that the Syrian people were demanding their legal rights. \"They seek for honor, freedom, justice and democracy. Tens of thousands of people were killed and hundred of thousands were arrested and injured in Syria. Millions of people left their homes.\" Al-Jawhari claimed that western powers as well as Russia and China were \"in no hurry\" to end the Syrian crisis, \"on the contrary they always looked after their own interests.\" What started as peaceful demonstrations in Syria in March 2011 quickly spiraled into full-scale conflict between regime forces and rebels who seek to topple Assad and has claimed more than 80,000 people. Lebanese opposition party reacts to Hezbollah The head of Lebanese \"Future Movement\" opposition party Fouad Siniora said that they were against Hezbollah involvements in Syrian incidents. Speaking at a meeting on Monday, Siniora said that they did not want Hezbollah or any parties in Lebanon to get involved in the incidents in Syria.
