
The Services Committee at the Shura Council met today with representatives of the Interior Ministry, and reviewed with them a draft law on a unified insurance system that ensures insurance protection for GCC military personnel working in any member GCC state, accompanying Royal Decree 33 of 2013. The committee decided to discuss the draft law with the concerned sides before submitting its final report to one of the council's sessions. The meeting, chaired by Abdulrahman Ibrahim Abdulsalam, also discussed bills on amending some articles of laws 74 0f 2006 on caring for, rehabilitating and employment of people with disabilities, law 32 of 2009 on the establishment of the Pensions and Retirement Benefit for members of the Shura, Representatives and municipal council and law 3 for 2008 stipulating the establishment of the Social Insurance Organisation. The panel also reviewed other issues.
