SJC\'s chairman receives UNODC\'s delegation in Bahrain

Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Chairman of the Court of Cassation, Advisor Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kuwari, today received Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yury Fedotov and UNODC's Head for the GCC region Judge Hatem Fouad Ali.SJC's Chairman praised the UNODC's efforts in combating drugs and crime in all forms and gave a briefed explanation on the judicial system in Bahrain.The meeting discussed joint cooperation and benefiting from successful expertise in the field of development of legislations and mechanisms of reducing crime rate and limiting its social impact.The delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception.
