Sleiman: Israeli enemy continues violating resolution 1701

President of the Republic Michel Sleiman said Sunday that the Israeli enemy continues to threaten Lebanon, with military aircraft violating Lebanese airspace today, a flagrant violation of UN resolution 1701. "The leadership of the international community and the Security Council of the UN express their commitment to Lebanon's stability, hence, they must increase their pressure on Israel to force it to abandon these methods, and be convinced that there is no peace and stability without the accession of Israel to the peace process in the region on the basis of the Madrid Conference and the opportunity that the Arab Summit in Beirut had granted in the year 2002," he concluded.
