Social Solidarity Ghada Wali left here on Sunday en route to New York on a several-day visit in which she will meet with a number of officials to discuss means of fostering bilateral relations.
Earlier this month, the US chamber of commerce invited Wali to participate in a panel discussion to tackle civil society, government and private sector's role in youths' employment rehabilitation.
The US comes on top of countries investing in Egypt, with the volume of direct US investments in Egypt reaching 6.19 billion dollars in 2013, representing one third of US direct investments in Africa.
