SOFEX special operations conference kicks off

The Special Operations Forces Exhibition SOFEX 2012 main conference kicked off Sunday under the title “Middle East Special Operations Commanders’ Conference (MESOC)”. Deputizing for his Majesty King Abdullah II, HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al-Hussein opened the exhibition, which is organized by the Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA) in cooperation with Jordan Joint Special Operations Command. The conference which brings together several heads of state, defense ministers and top army chiefs aims at boosting world and regional peace and security. The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mashal Al Zaben.
