South Korea dispatches 2 military planes to Philippines for relief operations

South Korea dispatched two military transport planes to the Philippines on Saturday on a mission to help airlift relief supplies and evacuees in the typhoon-ravaged nation, the defense ministry said. The C-130 planes, which left an airbase, south of Seoul, around noon, will carry out relief operations in the Southeast Asian nation for 10 days until Nov. 25, the ministry said.
