South Sudan Cabinet forms high-level committee to follow-up agreements

The Cabinet of the Republic of South Sudan chaired Thursday by the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir, appreciated the great efforts exerted by the negotiating delegation of South Sudan. The cabinet emphasized its full support to implementation of the matrix of the cooperation agreements that were signed by Sudan and South Sudan, announcing formation of a high-level committee to follow-up implementation of the matrix, suggesting establishment of a joint coordinative committee between the two countries. The Minister of Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Barnaba Marial Benjamin, urged the people of South Sudan to welcome warmly the agreement which is considered as an important stride in the right track for better relations between the two states.
