South Sudan\'s army admits losing strategic Bor

South Sudan's army admitted Wednesday that the rebels had seized the strategic town of Bor, the capital of Jonglei state, but stressed "the fighting is still going on." Philip Aguer, the spokesman of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA), said on phone from the South Sudanese capital of Juba: "Yes, we have already withdrawn from the city of Bor." He added the forces loyal to former Vice President Riek Machar have taken control of the city after the SPLA troops withdrew, " but the fighting is still going on."
