Srour discusses ties with ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan

Lower House Speaker Saad Hayel Srour on Monday discussed with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Fahd Bin Abdul Mihsin Jordanian-Saudi ties and developments in the region, mainly the Syrian crisis. Srour highlighted the strong ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia and valued the Saudi support to Jordan in various fields. The ambassador hailed the strong ties between the two countries, adding his country is keen to further cement relations with Jordan in various domains. Srour also met with the Azeri Ambassador to Jordan Sabir Aghabayov, who conveyed a letter from Speaker of the Azeri Lower House of Parliament to Srour congratulating him on his election as House speaker. Srour voiced Jordan\'s interest to develop ties with Azerbaijan, mainly in the parliamentary field. The ambassador highlighted the need to exchange visits and expertise to further promote relations between the two countries.
