State Minister for foreign affairs takes part in Doha meetings

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al Buainain took part in the extraordinary session of the Arab League, at the level of ministers, held here yesterday. During the session, the latest Syrian developments were discussed. The State Minister also participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee in Charge of the Situation in Syria. Deputy of the Joint UN-Arab League Envoy on Syria Nasser Al Qudwa attended and presented a detailed presentation on the situation in Syria. He also attended another meeting of Arab Peace Initiative Follow up Committee in which Palestinian President gave an update on circumstances of the late President Yasser Arafat’s death, as well as the International Quartet’s attempts to re-launch the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and the issue of Palestinian prisoners.
