
Sudanese Defense Minister General Awad Mohammed Ahmed Ibn Auf on Monday received a message from his Djibouti counterpart Hassan Darar Houffaneh on means of boosting bilateral relations, especially in the military domain.
Djibouti Defense Chief of Staff Brigadier Tahir Hassan Ahmed handed over the message during his meeting with the Sudanese Defense Minister earlier in the day.
In statements on Monday, Ibn Auf affirmed the strength of the relations between the two countries, expressing Sudan’s readiness to expand military cooperation with Djibouti, especially with regard to training and medical services.
Djibouti defense minister, for his part, highly appreciated the role of the Sudanese government towards Djibouti and thanked the Sudanese defense minister on his quick response to provide medical appliances and physicians to Omar Al Bashir Hospital in Djibouti.
