Sudan and South Sudan on Friday reiterated their commitment to implementing their security agreement and ceasing all forms of support and shelter for armed groups on each other\'s territory.Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and his southern Sudanese counterpart Salva Kiir Mayardit reiterated at a joint press conference in Juba, capital of South Sudan, outlined the settlement of the security issue as crucial for carrying out any cooperation between the two countries.The two presidents vowed to implement the items of the security agreement, praising the steps made by the two sides to establish a demilitarized zone on their joint border.They further reiterated the importance for the monitoring teams of the African Union to follow up the implementation of the security agreement.Sudan and South on March 8 signed a deal in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, stipulating the establishment of a demilitarized zone on their joint border and the stoppage of support and shelter for rebel groups.The agreement also stipulated that the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei would be tasked with monitoring the demilitarized zone with the participation of the military from both countries
