Political parties and organizations body in Sudan has called on the United Nations and its Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to review all UN resolutions issued against Sudan, and reports that affect it sovereignty and embarrass international peace and security.Sudan News Agency (SUNA) quoted the body Chairman Abboud Jaber as saying “these decisions represented a rift in the global body that should be maintained internationally, regionally and locally,” adding that the reports it issued do not match the conditions on the ground in Sudan. He stressed the importance of focusing on the principle of international cooperation to resolve all issues in Sudan.Jabir added that some major countries used to violate of the United Nations Charter by pretexts that contradict in letter and spirit the UN Charter, and intervene in the affairs of states, saying that could result in the occurrence of international disasters with undesirable consequences. However he praised at the same time the states that have been defending international conventions due to their previous awareness of the risk caused by failure to adhere to them on political, security and social levels.
