The Foreign Minister, Ali Ahmed Karti, would leave for Russia on a two-day visit at the invitation his Russian Counterpart to hold talks on the bilateral relations, the cooperation between the two countries and the international issues of mutual concern. In a statement to SUNA, the spokesman of the Foreign Minister, ambassador Abu-Bakr Al-Siddig Mohamed Al-Amin, said that the visit of Karti aims to briefing the Russian party on the positive developments in the relations between Sudan and South Sudan following the historic visit paid by the President of the Republic to Juba. He said that the two parties will review the distinguished relations between the two countries, the coordination between Sudan and Russia at the international forums, especially at the UN Security Council\'s sitting on the settlement between Sudan and South Sudan, scheduled by the end of the current month as well a the situation in Darfur. It is to be recalled that Russia supports the joint efforts between Sudan and South Sudan to settle issues between them.
