Sudanese president to visit Juba on Friday

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir will visit Juba tomorrow, Friday, press secretary at the Sudanese presidency Emad Sid-Ahmed said here Thursday. In a statement issued by Sudanese (Alintibaha) newspaper, the press secretary said that there is no delay of the visit, pointing out that high-level meetings had took place between the two countries on the coordination of the visit for its success. In a related context, Ambassador of the State of South Sudan to Khartoum Mian Dutt announced today that South Sudan’s government and people welcome al-Bashir’s visit to Juba, stressing that the visit will deal with bilateral relations and accelerating implementation of an agreement of mutual cooperation between the two countries as well as the transition to the stages of normalization realistic in relationships. He also expected that the visit will come out with positive results. For his part, State Minister at the Ministry of Oil in Sudan Engineer Faisal Hamad said that al-Bashir’s visit to Juba carries strong implications for peace sustainability, peaceful coexistence and safe neighborhood and will open the way for economic and trade developments in favor of the stability of the economy in both countries.
