
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the U.A.E. President and Chairman of Emirates Equestrian Federation, yesterday received the Assistant Secretary-General of Human and Environment Affairs of the GCC Secretariat, Dr. Abdullah Bin Oqla Al-Hashim, and representatives of GCC countries participating in the first meeting of the GCC Equestrian Organising Committee 2013-2016, whose headquarters have moved from Bahrain to the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan and Talib Daher Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the Equestrian and Racing Federation, and Equestrian Federation Assistant Secretary-General, Faisal Al Ali. Dr. Sheikh Sultan honoured the work of the Commission during its first meeting in the state, wishing the best of luck and success to all committees serving youth sports in the GCC countries, especially those interested in equestrian sport. He also asserted that the U.A.E. will provide all the capabilities through the Emirates Equestrian Federation for the success of the Commission's work during this session.
