Swedish King to visit South Korea

King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden will make his first official visit to South Korea later this month at the invitation of South Korea's President Lee Myung-bak, the Swedish embassy in Seoul said Tuesday. The king and his wife, Queen Silvia, are scheduled to arrive in Seoul on May 29 for a four-day visit that includes talks with Lee, according to South Korea's (Yonhap) News Agency. During the visit, the Swedish King will hold talks with South Korea's President Lee Myung-bak dealing with ways of enhancing bilateral relations as well as issues of common concern.
