Syria crisis affects tourism in Turkey adversely

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik on Thursday said, \"The tourism potential has increased in Turkey. However, there are negative impacts of Syria crisis. We are working to resolve them.\" Celik held a press conference at the International Berlin Tourism Fair. Celik stated Turkey had taken the necessary precautions because of the ongoing crisis in Syria and said that there was no security or domestic order problem in Turkey. Celik emphasized the importance of the cooperation between Turkish and German tourism professionals and said, \"I can not bear the long-term strategies. There is a need for development of new culture and tourism policies.\"
