Syrian Free Army proposes presidential council

Syrian Free Army has proposed National Salvation Project for the Transitional Phase provided for the establishment of Supreme Council of Defense which sets up a presidential council of six military and political figures to administer the transitional phase in Syria after the fall of the current regime. In its statement today, the Syrian Free Army pointed out that the Defense Council will include all commanders of military councils in Syrian cities and governorates, senior defecting officers, and officers taking part in the revolution.
