A Syrian journalist was among those killed on Wednesday in the blast that rocked the Damascus\' district of Mazzeh 86, the pro-government al-Ekhbaria TV said. Anmar Mohammad was killed along with two other people when an explosive device ripped through a communal bus in the Mazzeh 86 area, which has been recently plagued with a series of explosions. Mohammad is not the first journalist who got killed during Syria\'s 21-months-old crisis as the countrywide conflict has claimed the lives of many Syrian journalists. Al-Mazzeh 86 is dominated by people that hail from the Alawite minority, to whom the ruling elite belong. The blast was the latest in a string of blasts that rocked Damascus on Wednesday, the foremost of which were the triple blasts that struck the main entrance of the interior ministry and killed five people. In a statement, the ministry warned that it will not waver in rooting out terrorism with the help of the Syrian troops.
