A German court ordered a Syrian citizen to be remanded in custody after being arrested on charges that he joined the terrorist Daesh group in his homeland between 2013 and 2014.
According to Sky News, a statement by the court said he took part in various Daesh operations and later transported food between the bases of the terrorist group.
Prosecutors said there are no indications that he had relation to recent attacks in Paris and did not plan for any terrorist attacks in Europe.
