Syria\'s Nusra front supplies Iraqi al-Qaeda with chemical weapons

Syria\'s al-Nusra Front has supplied the al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq with chemical weapons, media reports said.Al-Nusra Front has claimed responsibility for most of the fatal bombings targeting civilians and government institutions across Syria after the outbreak of the country\'s crisis in early 2011. Damascus has repeatedly warned of the growing threat of such groups to not only Syria, but the entire region as well.The terrorist al-Nusra Front has sent chemical weapons to al-Qaeda terrorists in Iraq through the country\'s al-Anbar province in recent days, the Arabic-language daily al-Bayana al-Jadida quoted informed sources as saying on Monday.The newspaper noted that after receiving the weapons from a third party in a regional country, the al-Nusra sent the chemical weapons to their allies in Iraq.Last week, leader of al-Nusra Front, Abu Mohammed al-Jawalani pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda.Al-Jawalani made the pledge, in an audio message, a day after al-Qaeda in Iraq said the rebel group in Syria is part of its \"Islamic state\", al-Mayadeen TV reported.Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of al-Qaeda branch in Iraq, said Tuesday \"It is time to declare to the Levant and the whole world that al-Nusra Front is not but an extension for the Islamic state of Iraq and part of it\".\"We declare the cancelation of the name of Islamic State of Iraq, and the cancelation of the name of al-Nusra Front and combine them under (a) single name which is the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant,\" al-Baghdadi said in a message posted on the Internet, adding that the leader of the Syrian part of the self-styled state will be a Syrian.Iraq said earlier that several regional states, including Qatar, have paid $100 to each participant in protest rallies in al-Anbar province in support of Iraqi Finance Minister Rafia al-Issawi, whose bodyguards have been arrested on terrorism charges.Iraq\'s al-Nakhil news agency quoted a security official as saying that after the arrest of Issawi\'s bodyguards, several groups affiliated to the regional states, specially Qatar, paid huge sums to their sympathizers in Anbar, Salaheddin and Nineveh provinces to stage rallies against the Iraqi government.Ouraq al-Khalij newspaper also informed that Doha is staunchly supporting Issawi for taking the leadership of Sunni protestors in Iraq.The paper said Qatari officials had contacted a large number of their agents and hirelings in Iraq in recent days to coordinate the protests, adding that even the mottoes chanted against al-Maliki government have been dictated by Doha.Earlier this year, an Iraqi legislator said that a number of foreign states are funding and supporting the recent protests and unrests in Iraq\'s al-Anbar province.\"The goal of the recent protests in Iraq is drowning the country and this plot is orchestrated by the foreign states,\" Jamal al-Batikh told FNA at the time.He also cautioned that certain opposition lawmakers joined the plot and entered a regional and international game against Iraq
