Taksim Solidarity Platform said they would continue to be a close follower of their demands elated to the Gezi Park protests in a written statement. Pointing out that the protests which started in reaction to a construction project in Taksim, Istanbul turned into nation-wide demonstrations, the platform said \"This is just the beginning, we continue to struggle.\" \"We are continuing our struggle to protect the whole living creatures, our park, city and our freedom on the 18th day of the protests. We will continue to be a close follower of our demands. Our platform is more powerful, organized and hopeful now\" said the platform.
