Taliban attacks kill 4 US soldiers in Afghanistan

Four US soldiers were killed and four others were injured in two separate bomb attacks in eastern Afghanistan early Tuesday, Taliban said. Taliban Spokesman Zabihullah Mojahid said two tanks belonging to US military forces were destroyed in two separate roadside bomb attacks in the city of Zarmat in Paktia Province early Tuesday. Four American troops were killed and four more were injured in the attacks, he added. Tuesday attack came a day after 33 US forces were killed in a NATO helicopter crash in Paktia Province.
