Egyptian Commander- In -Chief and Commander of the Supreme Military Council Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi conferred here on Wednesday with US Deputy Secretary of State: William Joseph Burns on the current situation in egypt and means of bolstering relations between the two countries. William Burns arrived in Cairo last night on a two-day visit to Egypt. Earlier Tuesday , Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi met with former US President Jimmy Carter and reviewed the democratic transition process and the state institutions building in Egypt after the parliamentary elections which ended recently and the transitional phase until transferring power to a civilian president.
