
Thai anti-government movement, the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC), today marched throughout Bangkok to drum up support for the planned mass demonstration "Bangkok Shutdown" starting from January 13 onward in order to pressure caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign.PDRC spokesman Akanat Prompan said the marching route covers eight kilometres.The protesters of the Network of Students and People for the Reform of Thailand (NSPRT), a splinter group of the PDRC, did not join the Sunday rally, according to (MCOT online news).NSPRT key leader Uthai Yodmanee said that the group did not participate in today's walk but did not prohibit their supporters from joining the PDRC demonstrations.The NSPRT remained at their rally site at Chamai Muruchet bridge but students of Ratchavinit School located in the protest area could still enter the school compound for their examination.
