Third Field Army troops returned to the positions where they were stationed in Suez Tuesday morning. They had pulled out last week following clashes that broke out around the Security Department and continued for four days. Major General Sedqy Sobhy, the leader of the Third Field Army, gave orders for the troops to deploy once again in Suez, state-owned news agency MENA said. Dozens of armored vehicles were deployed at the Security Department, the Suez Courts Complex , the National Security Apparatus headquarters, the Red Sea Port Authority, the Suez Canal and other vital facilities. Suez security chief Major General Adel Refaat meanwhile ordered the return of police forces to the different districts and positions on highways after negotiations with Suez residents. Third Field Army forces withdrew from Suez on 25 January and left the police to secure the city. Later, hundreds of unemployed youth stormed into the governorate headquarters demanding jobs. Clashes also broke out between protesters and police forces, causing the death of five protesters and the injury of hundreds of others. Cairo - Al masry al youm
