Train drivers in Pakistan observe hunger strike

Train drivers have started hunger strike in Pakistan while the passengers are facing trouble due to protest. Train drivers are demanding promotions and facilities according to 2010 pay scale and mileage allowance, according to Pakistan\'s (Dunya) News. After failure of dialogues between Train Drivers Association and Managing Director Pakistan Railways, the drivers had given hunger strike call for today. The dialogues were held in railway headquarter Lahore. The General Manager Railways sought some time but driver leaders refused to give more time.
