Tripartite meeting discusses situation in Syria

A tripartite meeting was held here on Wednesday at the General Secretariat of the Arab League, included Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, who is also the chairman of the Arab ministerial committee on Syria, the UN-Arab League envoy for Syria Lakhdar Brahimi and Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi. The meeting discussed the latest developments in Syria as well as Lakhdar Brahimi’s mission The meeting expressed support for Lakhdar Brahimi’s mission in order to find a solution to stop the bloodshed in Syria. The meeting comes within the framework of the follow-up contacts and consultations to develop a solution ending the Syrian crisis.
