A man who murdered three young women was executed on Friday in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, with the approval of the Supreme People's Court (SPC). Gan Qiang, 43, posed as a company recruiter and kidnapped Liu, 25, a college student in October, 2011. He stabbed and then suffocated her in his home and dismembered her body. Another student Zuo, 20, met him for a "job interview" just weeks later and was killed in the same way. The investigation revealed third victim in Sept. 2011 when he gave a ride to Gui in Wuhan, whom he stabbed before drowning. The SPC held that Gan, in seeking mental stimulation, had committed the crime of intentional killing in particularly serious circumstances. Gan was convicted and sentenced to death by Wuhan Intermediate People's Court on Nov. 21, 2012. He did not appeal.
