
President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Dervis Eroglu Thursday appointed Ozkan Yorgancioglu, Chairman of RepublicanTurkish Party-United Front (CTP-BG) to form the government. Eroglu received the CTP-BG delegation lead by Yorgancioglu, victor of the early general elections held on July 28, at the Presidential Palace in Lefkosa. Eroglu said he appointed Yorgancioglu to form the government 48 hours after he held seperate talks with chairmans and representatives of all political parties. Eroglu hoped the government to be formed as soon as possible and wished success to Yorgancioglu who emphasized they would try their best to form the government in the shortest time possible.
