
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton by five percent in a new Los Angeles Times/USC poll.
The survey, carried out among 2,094, U.S. citizens showed that 47.5 percent would vote for Trump and 42.5 for Clinton.
Another poll conducted ABC News-Washington Post had also showed Trump with a 46-45 percentage point advantage over Clinton.
The fiercely-contested 2016 presidential election is set for Tuesday.
