US President-elect Donald Trump tweeted Friday shortly after the UN Security Council voted in favor of an anti-settlement resolution allowed by an unprecedented US abstention, saying, "As to the UN, things will be different after Jan. 20th."
For his part, an official of the White House reacted that the US has only one president at the moment.
"On the president-elect, the first thing I would just say is that there's one president at a time," White House deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes told reporters after the UN vote.
"President Obama is the president of the United States until Jan. 20 and we are taking this action, of course, as US policy," he added.
