Trump Vows to Restore Peace on Ukrainian Border

US President Donald Trump told Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during a phone conversation on Saturday that the US will work to restore peace in eastern Ukraine.
Trump has pledged to cooperate with leaders of Russia, Ukraine and other nations in order to restore peace along the border with Russia, the White House announced following the call.
Both presidents also expressed readiness to "explore additional steps to enhancing the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States," and restoring peace in war-torn Donbass in eastern Ukraine.
