Turkey condemns Pakistan blast

Turkey has condemned a blast that hit the northern Pakistani city of Bannu on Sunday killing at least 20 soldiers. More than 20 soldiers were killed and more than 30 others wounded in a bomb attack on an army convoy in north-western Pakistan. Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Turkey strongly condemns any act of violence targeting Pakistan's peace and security. "We extend our condolences to the families of the the victims and a quick recovery to the wounded," they stated. Turkey maintains its solidarity with Pakistan, the ministry added.
