
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov spoke over the phone about the situation in the Syrian city of Aleppo on Saturday.
According to Turkish diplomatic source, the Turkish and Russian foreign ministers discussed the developments in Aleppo, especially the evacuation of civilians from the city.
The source said the ministers also discussed the details of an upcoming meeting about Syria in Moscow.
During the conversation, Lavrov also conveyed his condolences to Cavusoglu over the terrorist attack that hit Turkey's central province of Kayseri on Saturday, which left at least 13 soldiers dead.
