Turkey is on agenda of Obama\'s visit to Israel

Spokesman for Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yigal Palmor has said Turkey- Israel relations were on the agenda of US President Barack Obama\'sIsrael visit. Palmor said they hoped, leaving the current dispute behind,  Turkey andIsrael would reestablish a friendly relationship very soon. Assessing the visit to AA, Palmor said Turkey would be on the agenda of the visit. On a question whether any concrete steps would be taken on Israel-Palestine issue, Palmor said it was early to express an expectation before the talks with Obama start. Palmor said Obama\'s presence was very important on the efforts for renewing peace negotiations. He said Israel was eager to do its share, reminding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu\'s clear remarks on that during his speech at the parliament on Tuesday. Palmor said Palestinians should consider Netanyahu\'s open to public and formal request as an opportunity, adding that \"they hope Palestinians would be persuaded by Obama\'s visit to give a chance to peace\". On Iran\'s nuclear program, Palmor stated they had been following Obama and vice president Joe Biden\'s latest remarks on Iran should not possess nuclear weapons in any condition.   He said Obama and Biden saying \"the problem should be solved via diplomatic means but if diplomacy fails, all options would be on the table\" was a clear message. Iran should give guarantee to international community, Palmor added.
